The popularity of the PC version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was evident when it became the fastest-selling game on Steam ever and topped the most-played charts on the service, blowing past the likes on Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike and Modern Warfare 3 (in fact, it’s still leading the pack right now).

But now there’s another way to measure the RPG’s success; according to Bethesda game director Todd Howard who dropped the nugget during his DICE keynote yesterday, the playtime for the PC version of Skyrim is, on an average, 75 hours.
